President Obama’s Approval Drops to New Low: He Is No Longer the Favorite in 2012

Your Black World reports

New ABC News/Washington Post and NBC/Wall Street Journal polls reveal that President Obama is now facing the lowest approval ratings in the history of his tenure.  Even Democratic pollster Peter Hart, who conducted one of the polls with a Republican, says that “Obama is no longer the favorite to win re-election.”

The ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 43 percent of Americans approve of the job the president is doing, while 53 percent disapprove.  The previous low for disapproval had been 52 percent, almost exactly one year ago today.  The NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that President Obama’s approval rating is at 44 percent, while 51 percent disapprove.

In previous polls, many Americans liked the president as a person, even if they didn’t like his policies.  But unfortunately for the Obama Administration, that trend is changing.  The NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll found that equal percentages (44 percent) of all Americans have positive and negative feelings about the president as a person – with no difference in approval/disapproval.

In a hypothetical presidential race, 44 percent of registered voters would support a generic Republican over the president, while 40 percent would continue to support Obama.  The president is in a fight for his life, with most of the problems coming from a poor economy and the Obama Administration’s inability to create jobs.  Congress plays a part in the troubles with their unwillingness to pass legislation that opens the door for job creation.  As the president faces new lows in his own approval, Congress also has record lows in approval from the American public.

If he is no longer the favorite in 2012, then who is? I just do not believe that..I have not seen anyone who can beat him in 2012 yet. This is all about finding enough fools who would believe this so that they won’t bother to vote at all….I think it’s awful and I am tired of it…I can see clearly what is going on. People today are not stupid…give us some credit for having a little bit of intelligence please.

I am really surpised is took so long for his numbers to drop this far. Obama is a do nothing president. Obamas only choice for the election is to divide us into camps and pit us against each other. Us versus them. Do you believe Obama is bought and paid for by the unions now. Obama is leader of the dem party not president of the US.

It is quite interesting to see how people are reacting to this news. I know the expectations of the president coming in and solving all the problems of decades, in two years is a big letdown to these fantasy voters. In the real world that does not happen, it is impossible. Whatever party we belong to, realize the alternative to Obama and write in and let us all know who that is. Just like the last election, we lost the majority seats but we still blame the president because we did not get out and vote for our candidate. We are weak in backing up the person we hailed as our first black president in the history of this inherently racist country. It took hundreds of years and thousands of deaths of black men, women, children, even whole towns when they grew prosperous. All this was done to us by racist whites and all you can say is that Obama is not moving fast enough to suit our conditions, conditions that he is not responsible for in the first place. We are easily dupped and divided as we witness the attacks on the president by his own people because he is not giving them enough attention. Unemployment compensation, social security, healthcare, all these things need to be revisited, not done away with. We better think long and hard about this separatist mindset we are going around with, and understand that they will do and say anything to stop this black man from winning the election again.

With the Bashing on this Website strictly focused on President Obama coming from his own community, and you are very wrong, it’s pretty sad. Consistent however, with how some in the community will always do whatever they can to find fault or bring others down. Pretty Sad

The Presidential Race is 11/2 years away and apparently this Blog believes that the American People not just Black Folk are willing to throw their families lives under the bus for republicans who have already told the American People they Plan to:

    Kill Medicare

Kill Social Security and not give you one dime of all those 50+ year you have paid into the system

    Kill your kids education

Kill the EPA Dept and just let the public drink unclean water, breath unclean air

Continue to give the Rich your hard earned Tax Dollars in Tax Cuts while they pay on Taxes

Give Corporations Significant Tax Dollars, yours, while many pay no taxes

    Kill the Vting Laws

Cut Workers Benefits, Eliminate Minimum Wage, Cut Retirement

Refuse to Create Jobs at least not on the President’s Watch and if they do Jobs will be at Slave wages

Bottom line whoever wrote this Article knowing the Plight Americans face not just Black Folk, any American who is not Rich, will be Slaves to the Rich should be ashamed of themselves

All articles should not support Lies and support what the Public Knows will Cause this country to become a 3rd World Country one in which your children, grand kids and your families will be taken back to the 1800s

Why would any Columnist support Republicans who plan and have told you their plan to Bankrupt this Country?
