It is more than time. When the Black Political Convention was held in Gary, IN, in 1972 it was appropriate. We needed a new political paradigm, a new thrust. Though not everything sought has been achieved it is worthy to note that it altered America and our worldview. So I say, lets meet the weekend of February 11, 2012, in either Los Angeles or Atlanta, to tackle the Black cultural nation’s goals and objectives. That would be in conformance with Dr. Carter Godwin Woodson’s quest he designed as Negro History Week in 1926.
